Mit Titeln wie " Ballet Dancer", " Not The Loving Kind" oder " Face To Face-Heart To Heart" konnten wir außerordentliche Chart-Erfolge in einer Zeit erzielen, die oft als "legendär" bezeichnet wird. Zum Beispiel schafften wir es damals, als bisher einzige deutsche Band, ein ganzes Jahr lang mit drei Singles hintereinander in den italienischen Top Ten-Charts zu sein. Dieses Buch gibt aber nicht nur einen intimen Einblick hinter die Kulissen des bunten Popmusik-Geschäftes dort, sondern auch bei uns, in Deutschland. Viele Begegnungen mit Stars, von denen wir selbst Fans waren, werden in diesem Buch beschrieben, ebenso die musikalischen Anfänge oder auch bemerkenswerte Situationen, in die wir gerieten. Dazu gibt es Informationen aus erster Hand für Leserinnen und Leser, die genauer wissen wollen, wie zu dieser Zeit Popmusik produziert wurde. Ich wünsche beim Entdecken oder auch Wiederentdecken der musikalischen 80er Jahre viel Spaß mit den Abenteuern der Twins. |
